Works in this collection are a series of bobbin lace pieces embellished by embroidery, their original ideas came from local observations and from driving in rural areas.  As many tracks were frequently seen, it provided the chance to see how landscapes change and sightings of flora and fauna.

Nicole is an Australian bobbin lace artist combining hand made and designed bobbin lace with hand embroidery.  Learning and experimenting with lace and stitching began at an early age with numerous informal opportunities at school and in the community through classes and attending craft groups.
