Bring: Your own materials and something to lean on

About: Ash will guide you through the session starting with warm up exercises and leading into some longer poses. She is available to provide help if you need but this is not a drawing ‘lesson.’

Who: Tamara Perret will be the life model for the evening, she is also an artist in the group show! Please approve any photos you take with her before posting to social media.

Be: respectful at all times. You will be made to leave if you make the model or other participants uncomfortable!!

Expect: A warm, casual environment with lots of Smutty art to gawk at and a beautiful model to inspire you!

FEAST your ears on our operatic degustation served by some of Melbourne's emerging artists.

After the sold out season of "Songs of Shakes-Queer" in January, Mei Wah Chan will be back on stage with 5 of Melbourne's most promising young artists accompanied by the wonderful Isaac Mouskovias on piano, as they steal you away to Eat you H-ART Out! Returning artists Sofia Imperatore, Tessa McKenna, Mei Wah Chan and Isaac Mouskovias will be joined by Chloe Taylor, Jack Jordan and Alex Owens.

From celebrations in champagne toasts, to sex and seduction, there's sure to be a song to suit your tastes. Whether you have dined in the operatic scene before, or would like to sample a tasting platter, this program of music inspired by "Let them eat cake" is the perfect meal.

"Eat your H-ART Out" will feature works from Verdi's La Traviata, Bizet's Carmen and Puccini's La Boheme garnished with indulgent moments of Erik Satie, Kurt Weill and Maurice Ravel.

Limited spots available, please reserve ticket

~ Un-tutored life drawing session with nude model
~ BYO materials (this session is not limited to drawing, bring whatever you like as long as it is not messy and does not impede on other peoples view)
~This session will be hosted by an artist, while it is untutored, if you need help they will happily assist you!
~Mixture of short and long poses
~Bar will be open for you to purchase drinks from. BYO alcohol is not permitted.
~We welcome beginners and experts and can't wait to help foster your artistic growth
~ A chance to meet and socialise with other creative people!
~ Artemisia Gallery is committed to creating a safe environment for all.
~Please do not comment on the models body, even if you think it is a compliment (try, "I love your poses" instead)
~ Do not touch the models, this is highly inappropriate
~ Do not make sexual jokes, comments, or say anything to make the model and your peers uncomfortable (boooo!)
~ Do not take photographs of the life model. If you want to take a reference photo to continue working at home you must obtain express permission from the model at and no times is it to be shared to others or posted online (this could warrant legal action)
~Poses will be decided by the model and the host (taking into account time and physical difficulty), please do not shout out pose suggestions.
~We reserve the right to remove patrons that do not uphold this code of conduct.
