Silent Symphony by Monica Costa

"The deliberate fusion of historical and modern aesthetics articulates my world and defines my artistic philosophy. Immersing myself in the world of art has always been a significant aspect of my life. My aim in my work is to bridge the gap between traditional techniques and contemporary artistic expressions by creating and sharing personal narratives that resonate with my world and life experiences. My images serve as a snapshot in time, providing glimpses into the intimate connections I share with my environment. Reflective, expressive, sometimes dark and playful, my art is often characterised by limited backdrops or the ethereal essence of expansive landscapes”.

Monica is classically trained - holding a Master's in Fine Art, residing and working in Melbourne / Naarm.
