What is Nostalgia? Need to recall lost times, places, tastes… We may also experience, or just imagine, a sense of wistfulness, similar to nostalgia, when viewing a photo or painting of a scene that is new to us. 

This small body of work, called “Sweet Nothings,” attempts to provide such an opportunity, allowing the viewer to somewhat “emotionally implode” into small, sweet images.

Still lifes, townscapes and vintage circus/fantasies are connected by the nostalgic sentiment .. I hope, self-evidently.
