Reclaimed Cypress pine (Macrocarpa).
Carving approximately 56cm x 20cm x 20/ 113cm total height of wood block. Coated with 3 layers of Tight Bond 3 glue.
Sculpted initially with chainsaws. Refined with wood carving chisels and power sanders and wood rasps. Gouge chisel with a lightly sanded finish. Timber base and carving are one piece. All timber was coated with three coats of Tight Bond 3 timber glue. Metal base designed by David Puustinen & Dylan Atkins. Created by Dylan Atkins from Wombat Repairs & Fabrications
Designed to be an indoor sculpture - not suitable for outdoor
exposure. OK outside under cover. Best not exposed to direct sunlight.
